My new website, Braclo.com!

Everything is still very much under construction as I learn more, so a lot of changes will happen, but it is a start!

This also means that from now on, all new blog posts will happen over there! Blogger has been a great place to blog and it has been fun, but it is time I move onto something bigger that can show off what I work on better.

Hope you all like the new site and see you over there!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06196478105809656088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5295987594653065725.post-37492927069833729452016-02-18T07:21:00.000+02:002016-02-18T07:21:15.956+02:00ChangesI just wanted to throw this small post out there that there will be some changes coming here soon!

I have been mostly gaming lately, but also working on something else that some of you might have seen already.

Not giving a timeline on this just yet, but will post as soon as the changes are made, or when I have an idea when it will happen.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06196478105809656088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5295987594653065725.post-30461322270388961572015-11-01T06:05:00.000+02:002015-11-01T06:05:12.925+02:00Update & Behind the ScenesGreetings all!

First of all, Happy Halloween! Hope you all have a fun and scary night!

For those that might have noticed, yes, I am changing the theme... again. This is a temporary theme until I make a custom background for the blog again instead of just a plain white background.

For those interested, here is some behind the scenes of Path to Redemption with some pretty pictures.

*SPOILER ALERT*
I recommend you watch the video first if you haven't!

The whole idea for this video started with people battling with heavy armor and from there it developed into what you see here. Finding the song by larrynachos, which fitted perfectly for the theme I was going for, everything just fell into place.

In total it took about a month to get done and only had three locations we filmed at.
The prison I build myself and is a very basic hallway and room with some added light sources to give a bit more dark/dungeon feeling to it.

The second location is the scenes where the house is burning. This was filmed at The Dragon Empire of Uhre and have already changed since I filmed the scene. The owner had to change his land but was very helpfull and left that area as it is seen in the video until I finished filming. Big thank you goes to Rik Sullivan for that.
The last location is Misty Mountains owned by Tymus Tenk. I filmed a small scene in one of Tymus's regions before and he was nice enough to let us use magic spells and smoke on the region, so a big thanks to Ty for that!

Costumes was probably the most difficult thing to find this time surprisingly, as I was sure finding good medieval armor can surely not be that hard... I was wrong. In the end I think the armor that can be seen in the machinima worked out perfect. Fun trivia: The project name was "Project Armor" due to the difficulty at the start to find nice armor.

I tried filming this one slightly different by using more close ups, wide angles and moving the camera with the action faster. I think it worked out pretty well, so will try it out a bit more in the next machinima I do.

That is mostly it for this machinima. In December we will hear how it did in the The University of Western Australia's MachinimUWA VIII: Pursue Impossible competition.

So I have lately worked on a machinima for University of Western Australia's MachinimUWA VIII: Pursue Impossible that will be released this week!

Recently I have changed my store location a bit and I ended up looking for a basic pier that is low enough land impact, but not just one flat prim. After looking for a while, I decided to make something myself and ended up developing it to a point where I can sell it.

The Pier and Support product comes with three different length piers and support. To make it super easy to setup, you can simply rez the pier and select Rez Supports on the menu, which will automatically rez supports from the ground to the pier, up to a height of 54m.

The land impact range from 2 to 7 and as always, updates are free!
For more information, head on over to the product page!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06196478105809656088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5295987594653065725.post-59093410111331006272015-03-30T18:20:00.001+02:002015-03-30T18:20:36.547+02:00Salutations - MachinimaI am happy to introduce my latest machinima, Salutations!!

I started filming this a few days after they added the first person camera to Guild Wars 2, a much requested feature. So, to say thank you for the feature and just show off some beautiful areas, I decided to make this fun video!

In several scenes you can really see the height difference, especially against the Norns, since I play as an Asura. It sure gives the game a different feeling at times, and I started to notice some things I never even knew was in the world.

Be sure to check my Flickr for some shots I took while we did the filming.

The fun song I used is called Hello by OMFG and can be found here: https://youtu.be/XRgiNUtJurkAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06196478105809656088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5295987594653065725.post-25971167196657610132015-03-30T07:05:00.001+02:002015-03-30T07:05:55.246+02:00Black & White ThemeI think I am happy with this theme for now.

It is basic, but it is also very clean and links to everything I want it to link to. There might be some small changes now and then, but nothing major.

For those interested where I got the design, it is over at Veethemes.com called "Mimes-Blog", with some changes I did here and there to make it fit in more with what I wanted.

Also... I will be posting my latest machinima tomorrow!!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06196478105809656088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5295987594653065725.post-40267638676074831342015-03-06T16:20:00.006+02:002015-03-06T16:49:02.373+02:00Under ConstructionIt is that time again. Virtually Happy, a music video with Pharrell Williams - Happy song.

This was a pretty big production with over 90 people in total and at places like Builder's Brewery, Hollywood Airport, Luskwood, Toby's Juke Joint and more. It made it difficult to organize sometimes, especially when you want to make sure you keep lag as low as possible, but in the end we did it :D

Hope you all enjoy it and big thanks to everyone that was involved!!!

You can find a copy of this guide over at my new website!

Greetings all,

After looking for a fix for some time now, I have finally found the solution to an issue that have been affecting some people, including myself, for a while now in Second Life.

When using a joystick to control the camera or your avatar in Second Life, some joystick's throttle control is not recognized.

How many joysticks are affected by this I do not know, but I can confirm the Logitech Extreme 3D Pro is one. I can also confirm not all joysticks are affected by this as I had some cheap joystick in the past that worked fine.

The answer?
vJoy + UJR

What is vJoy?
"vJoy is a device driver that bridges the gap between any device that is not a joystick and an application that requires a joystick. If you develop an application for windows that requires user physical input you should consider incorporating vJoy into your product."

What is UJR?

"UJR is an application to remap one or more physical joysticks onto one virtual joystick.
It supports axis inversion, deadzones, sensitivity, axis merging and more."

Below is instructions on what to do.

(1) Plug in your Joystick.

(2) Download and install vJoy.

(3) Download, unzip UJR and run it.

(4) In UJR, under the "Bindings" tab, set all the keys.

(5) In UJR, under the "Buttons 1" tab, bottom right, select "Auto Configure Stick".

(6) In UJR, under the "Axes 1" tab, bottom right, select "Auto Configure Stick".

(7) Now open Second Life under the joystick settings, it should show it is using vJoy Device.

Now below is the settings I have setup for UJR and Second Life since the Auto Configure settings binded some axis I do not use.

UJR Settings

Second Life Settings

When I finished setting everything up, I realized that the #1 button on my joystick do not register in Second Life to activate the Flycam, which it should based on the settings under the "Button 1" tab.

To fix this:

-I activate "QuickBind Select" binding I setup in step (4);

-I pressed the #1 joystick button;

-I activate "QuickBind" binding I setup in step (4);

-I pressed the #1 joystick button;

After that it worked fine, although I am not sure why (5) did not work the first place.

Hopefully this works for everyone, but if you have trouble, feel free to comment below or on the forum topics I have posted this and I will try and help as best I can :D

Time for a new product... well more a series. FN Series... which is just short for Furniture Series.
First in line - a Wardrobe!

I have been looking for a wardrobe for a while but could not find one exactly like I wanted. So instead, I decided to create my own. I tried to keep it low prim, but at the same time also add smaller details.

There is a simple design in the wardrobe doors and drawers, with small details such as hinges on the sides of the doors. The doors and drawers can open & close, and just for immersion, whenever you close the door and there is drawers open in the way, it will automatically close the drawers too.

I have included two versions, one with clothing on the shelves and in the drawers, and another without any clothing. There is also a basic menu system that includes options to change between four different textures and allow you to resize it quickly.

This Wardrobe is Modify and Copy, so you can manually change the color, textures or even unlink parts without breaking anything.

Hope everyone likes it!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06196478105809656088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5295987594653065725.post-16680549570238799622014-04-02T08:07:00.000+02:002014-04-02T08:07:26.896+02:00Another Update?! Yes! Comrido V3Time for another update.

This update has been mostly done for a few days now, but I had to write the new documentation and fix some smaller issues, which I got time to do today too... so here is version 3 of Comrido.

So what is new?
The two main features is a Setup Hud for the Comrido U/RGU units and a Relay to allow multiple adjacent region communication.

The setup menu that used to be in the Comrido U and RGU unit is now completely removed and replaced by a HUD that you can retrieve by clicking the unit. When wearing it, you can click any unit you own and can set all the settings through the HUD.

This should hopefully make setting up the HUD a lot faster and easier.

The second big feature is the Comrido Relays. By placing these relays on the Region borders within 20m radius of each other, it allows all units to communicate over all the regions connected in this way. This should allow people to stay in touch in a community that cross several regions.

Other than that, there has been code optimization for all of the units including the walkie talkies, so everything related to the Comrido system has been update. For those that already own a Comrido unit should have recieved your update by now, if not, you can get it from the redeliver terminal here.

Hope everyone likes the new update!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06196478105809656088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5295987594653065725.post-90424014577165041882014-04-01T23:54:00.000+02:002014-04-01T23:54:45.430+02:00Theme UpdateAs mentioned before, I was looking into updating this blog a bit.

Well here it is!

So far I like it, and it works pretty well, especially when it comes to different resolution screens.
It hides most of the clutter with the option window on the top right, but also makes it easy accessible.

I will try this out for a few days and see how it goes, maybe change a color or so here and there, but overall it is good to go.

For those interested, I found the theme over at newbloggerthemes.com

Feel free to let me know what you think in the comments below, especially if you seen the theme before!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06196478105809656088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5295987594653065725.post-80176917339879873212014-04-01T21:29:00.000+02:002014-04-02T08:07:38.183+02:00AirGPS v2.5 UpdateGreetings all!

AirGPS has just been updated to version 2.5. Here is what is new!

You will now notice the altitude of the targeted airport will be displayed next to the distance meter. This will hopefully make it easier to approach airports, especially the ones that is up in the air.

The panels has been updated to display where the altitude is shown and also the version of the HUD.

In the background, the scripts has been changed a lot to work faster and smarter in the way it handles information. The old resize script by Brilliant Scientist, although awesome, has been replaced completely by llScaleByFactor() since it does the same thing.

Hope everyone likes the new update!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06196478105809656088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5295987594653065725.post-21237638895301543522014-03-21T22:26:00.000+02:002014-03-21T22:26:34.422+02:00Quick hello!Greetings all!

So to celebrate the one year annivarsary of Wingman's Hangar over at Robert Space Industries, I decided to make this video showing what it is all about and what happened this past year :D

For those that do not know what Wingman's Hangar is, it is a weekly show that gives info on the development of Star Citizen, with reviews, forum feedback and more!

So here it is! Congratulations again to the Wingman's Hangar team!
This one is for my teleport system, Teporial.

Teporial has been mostly rebuild (now partial mesh!) to add more detail to it and a spin effect was added in the center when you start to teleport. Also, the Black Rock theme from version 1 was removed and replaced by a Colors theme.

There is still a lite version that is one prim only, although the standard one is two prims now instead of four that version 1 was. Version 1 is still included when you purchase it for those that preferred the old version.

Other than that, the scripts has been slightly changed to work with the new build and to tune some stuff to work better.

For those that have already bought it, you should have received your update by now. If not, you can head on over to my in-world store and use the redeliver terminal.

Hope you all like it! :D

Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06196478105809656088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5295987594653065725.post-77599357309591308012013-12-04T21:10:00.000+02:002013-12-04T21:10:31.741+02:00BanP Update!BanP, my ban line detector, is now version 3.0 with a few new features.

First, the biggest addition is the rez zone detector. By switching to rez in the menu, you will now be able to see where rez zones are, making it easy for you to find an area to rez a vehicle.

The sides of the direction indicator will turn green (detecting rez zones) and red (detecting ban lines) to show you what it is currently looking for.

The other feature I added is distance lines on the HUD, making it easier to determine how far a ban line (or rez zone) is from you. You can change the color to your liking or you can turn it off completely.

Everyone should have received the update by now, but if you haven't, you can head on over to my store and pick it up at the redeliver terminal.
Hope you like the new update to BanP!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06196478105809656088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5295987594653065725.post-53142521986668753542013-11-29T19:46:00.000+02:002013-11-29T19:46:19.001+02:00Transporting Goods - Skyrim Style! So adventuring through the land of Skyrim, I decided to gather what I can from a Dwemer ruin and walk back the Kynesgrove.

After I walked a bit due to the fact that I am over encumbered and can't run ,I discovered a little wooden cart next to the road and an idea popped in my head!
To Note: Running and pushing the cart works really well, but the items disappear when you cross certain areas. As far as I can tell, this is when you go across a cell border in the game world, or something similar. Also quick save and quick load while the items were in the cart made them disappear.

What I did is do a quick save, place all the items in the cart and run with it. When they disappear, I know where it happens, so I quick load and place the items in the cart again, run with it and stop before that area, pick it all up and push the cart over that area, and repeat.

Film Chair has been updated to version 2.0.

So what is different? Well, almost everything, although most is not visible.
The chair is now 100% mesh. I rebuild it based on the 1.0 look so it looks the same, but has a lot better LOD and much sharper corners compared to the 1.0 sculpty version.

The script has mostly been rewritten to make it work much better and a lot faster than the older version. Also, there is only one script now that does it all, compared to the three scripts before, one of them being the poseball script that is no more needed as there is no poseball! So less prims... well actually, the chair is only one prim now :D

The rest (titles and animation) is the same with textures appearing different with some themes. This is due to the fact that I used different textures on some themes, and that textures display much better with mesh than sculpty.

I hope everyone likes the new update :DAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06196478105809656088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5295987594653065725.post-50228670671348320782013-11-06T04:07:00.000+02:002013-11-06T04:07:12.537+02:00Battle Prims! It is time for a new product! Wooohooo!
Introducing, Battle Prims!

Here is the description :D

Battle Prims is a game of combat in which your Battle Prim takes to the arena and fights for glory. The Battle Prim can attack, evade, block and heal based on the settings you select and arena you choose. Arenas can have up to eight starting points, with several blocking and healing power ups that will give your battle prim an edge over its opponent. You choose the settings. You choose the arena. The Battle will determine the ultimate victor.

In the future I am going to update this game, with more skins for the Battle Prims and different type of arenas. I am also looking into making another type of battle mode and maybe even make it possible so that people can make skins and arenas for the game :D

The reason why I have not finished all of this before releasing it is because I would like to get feedback and see what people are interested in seeing next in Battle Prims.

The Battle Prims package comes with a free two player arena so that you can challenge a friend to battle in it :D I will be releasing a four player arena soon!

I hope everyone likes the game and looking forward to hearing your feedback!
You can get Battle Prims from my store in the marketplace!Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06196478105809656088noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5295987594653065725.post-83645372998492553212013-10-22T17:15:00.000+02:002013-10-22T17:15:22.816+02:00AirGPS 2.1 Update!AirGPS version 2.1 is now available and everyone that already bought it should be receiving an update soon if you haven't already. This is a pretty small update, but will be very handy going forward.

What this update does is give an option to request a new airport list from the HUD, so no need for a full update just to get a new updated list out there.

This is not an automatic check though, so you will manually have to click the update button now and then and check if there is a new list out. I might look into it in the future if the demand is high enough, but for now do it as part of your checklist before flying ;)

To request a new list:
-Click the M button on the hud for the menu.
-Click Options.
-Click A Update.

Feel free to send me a IM in world if you want your own/favorite airport added or if you have discovered an airport that don't exist anymore. Since I can add them easily now, the list can stay more up to date.

Hope you all like this small update! :DAnonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/06196478105809656088noreply@blogger.com0
